What is Enduro Cross?
Enduro Cross is a style of Enduro riding that focuses on passing different types of obstacles, both in a training area and in real riding situations.
These obstacles may include:
- Logs
- Concrete pipes
- Barriers
- Rocks
- Ruts
- Steep hill climbs
- Steep downhills
- Continuous technical obstacles
The key to Enduro Cross is not only speed.
It is about timing, precision, bike control, and choosing the right technique for each obstacle.
If you want to progress toward Hard Enduro or ride natural trails with more confidence, this course will give you an important foundation.
What you will learn ?
During the Enduro Cross Training course, you will train step by step, from basic skills to real obstacle applications.
1. Front Wheel Lift Foundation
You will learn how to lift the front wheel correctly, not for showing off, but for real obstacle riding such as logs, pipes, ruts, and technical terrain.
2. Clutch, Throttle, and Brake Coordination
You will practice the correct timing of clutch, throttle, and brake control in order to manage the bike’s power and momentum properly when approaching obstacles.
3. Front Wheel Placement
You will learn how to place the front wheel accurately.
If the front wheel lands in the wrong place, the rear wheel will follow the wrong line, and the bike can lose balance immediately.
4. Log Crossing
You will practice log crossing techniques from basic to more challenging levels, with a strong focus on safety, body position, and bike control.
5. Concrete Pipe Crossing
You will learn how to evaluate distance, speed, timing, and body movement when crossing round obstacles such as concrete pipes, which can easily deflect or bounce the front wheel if approached incorrectly.
6. Barrier Crossing
You will practice crossing obstacles with harder edges and greater height by learning how to lift, place, and drive the bike over the barrier with proper timing.
7. Steep Hill Climb
You will learn how to choose the correct line, use momentum, manage traction, and control the bike when riding up steep hills.
8. Steep Downhill Control
You will learn how to use body position, front brake, rear brake, and engine braking to safely control the bike on steep descents.
9. Recovering When Stuck on an Obstacle
You will learn how to reset, reverse, restart, and recover when the bike gets stuck on logs, pipes, barriers, or hills.
10. Enduro Cross Challenge
You will combine all the skills into a continuous training section that simulates real riding situations. This helps riders understand how to use multiple techniques together under real conditions.
